"300
million years from now the only thing that will matter is: who is in heaven and who is in hell."
(Mark Cahill)
What will determine my
everlasting home?
Certainly it is
the
choices that I make now !
What happens if I choose
to live a good moral life, believing that this will get me to heaven?
What happens if I have
already made bad choices -- is there any hope for me?
These questions beg
an answer from God himself. What does He say?
We are all guilty of
sin: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is
none righteous -- no not one. (Romans 3:23)
How then can anyone end up
in heaven? God's wonderful plan reveals
the
one and only way.
For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own
way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
(Isaiah 53:6)
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes
we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians
2:8,9)
That if
thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with
the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9,10)
For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans
10:13) |

In light
of these Holy words from God, you are
urged to receive Christ as your savior. By faith see him dying on the
cross for your sins. Repent and receive him, believing that he has
paid the full price for all your sins. Thank him for his wondrous gift. He will come into your heart and give you
a new nature and the assurance that you are
saved.
Now
being justified by faith alone, confess him openly and serve him with all
your heart. He will get all the glory, and you will rejoice knowing
for sure where you will be 300 million years from now.
